 Hamada
Area is the center core of the western part of Shimane Prefecture. Sekisei
Culture Center was opened in April 1994 in Hamada City, the central city
of Hamada Area. The Culture Center was designed to promote culture in this
area and to encourage local activities. The Center and the attached hotel
are a two-minute walk from JR Hamada Station. The upper half of the
building is beige and the lower half is a light pink. The large hall is
equipped with a monitoring device for those who are hearing-impaired.
There are three terraced floors with fixed seats, spaces for wheel chairs,
and a room for mothers and children.
